    Coordination Meeting on Evacuation Efforts

    On August 14, a coordination meeting was held for organizations involved in evacuation and support for evacuees, attended by representatives from local authorities, including the Regional Military Administration, National Police, and State Emergency Service. Key topics discussed included public awareness of evacuation procedures, key evacuation issues, the organization of accommodation for evacuees, and post-evacuation support. The meeting was conducted in a hybrid format, allowing both online and offline participation. Thank you to all participants for their active engagement and fruitful discussions.

    On August 7, an important meeting was held with representatives of the international organization ACTED, during which the results of the first half of the year were discussed. Participants had the opportunity to share the realities of their work, the challenges they face, and solutions for local sector issues. This meeting served as a platform for open dialogue, outlining prospects for further collaboration and support for Ukrainian civil society.     Meeting of the Food Security and Livelihoods Cluster

    On July 31, a meeting of the Food Security and Livelihoods Cluster took place in Zaporizhzhia, attended by 41 representatives from 26 organizations. Coordinator Viktoriya Davydova provided an overview of partner activities in June, highlighting gaps in food assistance, with around 88,500 people lacking support due to reduced resources and duplication of aid. Mercy Corps presented their grant programs for farmers and households, while the Estonian Refugee Council shared their emergency assistance program for 420 frontline households. The meeting concluded with presentations of cluster information products, including dashboards for food aid and livelihoods, as well as plans for winter preparation for 2024-2025.

    Meeting for Change: Strengthening Partnerships in the Eastern Region

    On July 30, the third "Meeting for Change" took place in the eastern region, organized by the National Network for Local Philanthropy Development. These forums aim to strengthen partnerships between local organizations and international partners to support local initiatives. The "local talks" format allowed speakers to share their projects and draw attention to pressing issues. Discussions also covered rebuilding efforts and the role of local communities in humanitarian response. The Relief Coordination Centre thanks for the opportunity to participate in these important events.

    Knowledge at an ACTED training on Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL)

    RCC representatives are enhancing their knowledge at an ACTED training on Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL). During the training, they became acquainted with the main objectives of evaluation, methodologies, tools, and approaches, which were presented with examples. Participants improved their skills in data analysis, presentation, and dissemination of analytical materials. We are grateful to ACTED for their professionalism and in-depth knowledge, which will help us provide assistance more effectively.
